Hija Design was created and is run by me, Imogen.

I have been totally immersed in creative things since I was little, whether that was painting, drawing, singing or dance classes. I’ve always found anything creative is the way I truly express myself and can put my full heart and concentration into.

Since I was age five, I have always drawn things - this transpired into illustrating when I was in my teens and then grew arms and legs evidently.

I bought my iPad (what I use to illustrate) in June 2020. During the pandemic it saving me from boredom and I eventually took the leap and started selling my artwork on Etsy. Although Etsy was a great starting block - I wanted to have my very own website which is how hijadesign.co.uk was born!

I’ve been working on it in the background when I’m not at work creating content for the company I work for, so it’s nice to use the skills I’ve developed on my very own project!
